Shipping & Delivery

All orders placed with Kit Car Direct will be dispatched by a fully insured trackable courier.  We will endeavor to dispatch your order on the day you placed it however it is likely that items in your order will need to be manufactured as per the lead times stated on the product. While the manufacture process is done in house and we will endeavour to have your items manufactured and dispatched to you within  the dedicated lead time to your product,The lead times will be found on each individual product, FREE delivery is to orders to UK mainland only and orders over £50 (unless otherwise stated), All other areas will be chargable and this is detailed at point of checkout, if your country is not present please contact us for a quotation.

Shipping Outside of the UK

We can ship worldwide. We have shipping rates for European countries with our couriers and these are automatically calculated at checkout on the website. For countries outside of Europe (e.g. USA, Australlia, Canada, Norway, Japan, Jamacia, etc), shipping rates are calculated by parcel volume (height x width x length) rather than the weight of the parcel. Depending on what you order, we don't know the volumetric weight until your parcel is packed. You can order your products on line, we will then pack them and get a shipping quote. Once we have the shipping quote, we will send you to a link on the website to purchase the cost of the shipping. Once paid, we will send your order. If your country is not present please contact us for a quotation.

Brexit Update

From 1st January 2021, the UK will no longer be part of the EU, therefore there is no 20% sales tax applied to orders to EU countries (Note: Import duty may apply).  If you log into your account, and select the appropriate shipping destination country, this will then automatically discount the price of the goods by 20% removing the sales tax if applicable.

Privacy & Security

Here at Kit Car Direct we take security very seriously indeed.  We will not share your information with any 3rd party and all payment information is covered by PCI compliance.  Our web platform is regularly maintained and upgraded to the latest security compliant versions of software so we can keep the good guys in, and the bad guys out!

Returns & Replacements

Returns are not accepted.  Most of our products are made to order so you should receive what you pay for.  In the unfortunate event of an error, we will endeavour to resolve the problem within two working days.  If your item arrives damaged then we must be informed within three days of the delivery date.  In the unlikely event we are informed after this time, we will endeavour to resolve the issue, though cannot guarantee replacement items. No returns will be excepted without us issueing you confirmation to return. We reserver the right to apply a handling charge of up to £10 or 10% whichever is greater on returned goods.  We cannot refund any special order items or products that have been cut from a roll, length or sheet; e.g. Hose, Trim etc.  Returned goods must be received by us within 14 days of Invoice data and as-new condition including origional undamages packaging, also include copy of the the origional sales receipt/invoice and your origional payment details.Please see our Returns Policy for further information.


Orders can be placed on our website 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  We only manufacture throughout the week however sometimes we do manufacture at the weekend to make sure the demand is serviced appropriately.

Working days is based on a 5 Day week,Payment, Pricing & PromotionsOur prices will sometimes fluctuate due to the price in raw materials increasing or decreasing.  We will pass on any discounts we receive in raw materials to the customer so we can be the most price aggressive in our space.  If you find the same product anywhere else on line for less please let us know and we will refund the difference.

Coronavirus COVID-19

Since the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic outbreak in the United Kingdom, we have taken measures to protect our workforce, customers and associates. Where possible, team members are working from home, however some of our workforce are required on site to carry out various processes. As a result, we still able to dispatch on-line and telephone orders. The telephone is available for sales enquiries and technical support as normal. We will continue to answer your emails too.
